Hisense, Chinese consumer electronics brand has allegedly appointed 13-time All Star and three-time National Basketball Association champion Dwyane Wade as the first brand ambassador for US.
Wade already has a lifetime contract with Chinese sneaker brand Li-Ning. As a brand ambassador of Hisense, Wade will be supporting its brand launches and will be making appearances in marketing campaigns.
Speaking about the association, Wade said, “I’m looking forward to joining the Hisense team as an ambassador of their high-performing products with top-notch technology and great-looking design. “Based on their dedication to excellence, their rapid growth and the way their products elevate the TV viewing and home experience globally, I am proud to partner with them in this exciting new role.”
Hisense’s sponsorship activities are primarily directed towards awareness of its television products. For past few years, the company has been doing sponsorship deals with major international sports organizations including Fifa, Uefa, US Soccer, and Nascar.
