Gabe Furtado is a talented artist who began his studies in communication focusing on journalism. However, after his father’s unexpected death while in school, he realized that life was too short not to live your best life; that’s when he decided to drop out of college and pursue his passion that was music. Gabe began creating music with a new outlook, and in 2014, he started his career by releasing cover songs by Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and Mika. In 2017, he released his first professional EP, “Just Feelings,” which featured three cover songs, including his rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” which is his most simulcast song on Spotify, with 200k streams. Gabe then made homemade videos for two of his songs to accompany his EP on his YouTube channel. With the success of the videos, he decided to record his album and debuted his original music with “Last Goodbye,” a song about his father’s death. The “Last Goodbye” video included stunning visuals, piqued the interest of the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival, and was nominated for all music video categories in the Los Angeles International Music Video Festival.
