Even educational institutes are coming up with unique methods or promoting their institutes. They are utilizing social media influencers to promote their institutes. In a statement, Anglia Ruskin University’s management said that they had paid a dozen lifestyle, fashion, and travel influencers to promote the institution on Instagram in the weeks leading to this year’s A-Level results.
They even said that Instagram posts were marked up as an ‘Ad’ and the entire focus was on the ‘wider benefits of considering a university education’. These promotions were shared on A-Level results day aiming at students who couldn’t get the grades for their first choice of university and had to go through clearing.
One of the influencers who promoted Anglia Ruskin University is travel and lifestyle blogger Mariana Alonso. Alonso graduated seven years ago as an engineer from Faculdades Integradas de Cataguases, in Brazil, and has 82,800 on her Instagram.
Another Travel blogger Lauren, who has an Instagram account ‘Spain with Lauren,’ also promoted Anglia Ruskin. She has 10,400 followers on her Instagram.
