Has the Healthcare Sector Reached its Fullest Potential?
Global health co-founder and program director of GGHTx, Avi Kerendian, does not think so. Access to health care is the most basic of human needs, but unfortunately for most leaders of developing countries, the word is nothing more than a cliché. There is no “good health” in the United States, let alone in the rest of the world.
There is little dispute surrounding the importance of healthcare equity when it comes to treating the most marginalized of populations such as those found in Guadalajara, Mexico and Uganda or other countries in Africa. According to a recent joint World Bank and World Health Organization (WHO) global health report, more than half of the world’s population do not have access to clean water, nutritious food, and a basic quality of health. As a result — each day — lives are lost. This pattern holds especially true in third world villages where most populations survive on less than one US dollar a day; in other words, absolute and sheer poverty.
The climb of global health leader led by co-founder Avi Kerendian in Mexico is helping provide sustainable change for the nonprofit global health industry. With the rise of nonprofits and global health leaders, there is a newfound hope that laws and healthcare policies can be used to help alleviate this dire situation for those whose urgent healthcare needs have been neglected most. Furthermore, countries whose healthcare systems frequently count on extra-governmental aids or outside nonprofit grants for sustainability will need more than donations of medical supplies to survive.
“We are going to be working with hospitals and clinics around the world to bring affordable, high-quality healthcare to those who need it. Here’s how GGHTx and Kiyini Jimedine will help create a new generation of nonprofits whose sole mission is to heal.” – Avi Kerendian, Co-Founder of GGHTx and Zidan Benevolence International
Non-governmental organizations and other non-profitable organizations, such as GGHTx, led by co-founders Avi Kerendian, Dr. Arash Hakhamian, and Kiyini Jimedine (GGHTx) are helping to play a crucial role in these healthcare systems. Among the most important roles that NGOs and other non-profits play with the promotion of public health include contributing to the two stages of the research cycle: fostering the relevance and effectiveness of research, then prioritizing it’s theoretical translation to an immediate plan of action.
Nonprofit organization such as “Gracias” Global Health Trips (GGHTx) and Zidan Benevolence International are empowering the next generation of global health leaders. The most important role we play in promoting the relevance and effectiveness of research is to participate in the global effort to promote public health and to prioritize the development of new and innovative approaches to health research and development in Guadalajara, Mexico, Uganda and Africa. We also contribute to the promotion and promotion of relevant global health research that serves the people benefiting from GGHTx. Avi Kerendian GGHTx helps to grow the non-profit organization in setting priorities for promoting health education, health policy and public policy, with a focus on access to health care for the most vulnerable.
Leading research institutions such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other international organizations are helping to play a critical role in health systems.
For these reasons, the legislators in third world countries must also formulate laws that are accommodative for NGOs and nonprofits collaborating in such countries, so to provide a favorable and comprehensive solution that helps address nonprofit and global health operations. They play an important role in promoting access to relevant and effective health care and research.
