Directed by S. S. Rajamouli, RRR is an Indian epic period action drama Telugu-language film. The movie, released in 2020, was a blockbuster at the box office. It also received a lot of praise from the international audience all over the world, especially after its release on Netflix. The story is set in the 1920s and follows the fictionalised lives of Indian freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj. The high-octane action film also won an Oscar for its song ‘Naatu Naatu’ as Best Original Song. From the engaging historical background to stunning visuals, S. S. Rajamouli’s narrative of the epic is just beyond the explanation.
