The big CNN-News18 Indian of Year 2023 Award night just finished a few minutes ago, and Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan won the main award, CNN-News18 Indian of the Year 2023. The 58-year-old actor attended his first public event since 2019.
Riding high on the success of his three movies, Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, the actor well deserved the award, as the cumulative business of these films had been more than 2,600 crore worldwide.
Awarded the Indian of the Year 2023 Award at the CNN-News18 Indian of the Year 2023, the superstar accepted the award from the esteemed jury. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan shattered several records at the box office and also touched the 1,000 crore mark each.
The superstar also talked about the troubles his family experienced, which was a direct comment about the Aryan Khan drug case controversy. The Jawan star also talked about ‘specialists and analysts’ who commented on his filmy career.
“And then, at a personal level, a little bit of bothersome and unpleasant things also happened to say the least which made me learn a lesson that be quiet, be very quiet and work hard with dignity. When you think everything is good, and still know it in your heart when everything is good, suddenly out of nowhere, whoom, life may come and hit you,” the actor said.
