Jennifer Lopez and Shakira’s halftime show was mesmerizing and it had everything that was needed to call a show a perfect one!
It has everything from energetic dance moves to surprise performances, crowd surfing to pole dancing and much more.
“Hola, Miami,” said Shakira as she kicked off the performance. Then she launched into a musical medley of her songs and played guitar on, “Empire.”
Then the time for “Jenny from the block” arrived.
Then JLo performed “Waiting For Tonight” and that there were plenty of hip swivels from the superstar duo.
Lopez even performed the pole dance and reminded us why she was one of the best parts of the film “Hustlers” (in which she played a stripper).
Then, Reggaeton artists Bad Bunny and J Balvin spiced up the show to the next level. Then appeared Lopez’s 11-year-old daughter, Emme, with a children’s choir to sing “Born in the U.S.A.” and “Let’s Get Loud” along with her mom.
Before the event Lopez took to her social media and posted, “So excited to share the stage with you tonight @Shakira! Let’s show the world what two little Latin girls can do. #LetsGetLoud #GirlPower #SuperBowlLIV #SBLIV.”
After the event, social media was swamped with rave reviews, including from Lady Gaga, who was the halftime performer in 2017.
