Martial Arts Hall of Famer “Magic” Micah Ashby has spent thousands of hours helping others in self defense, martial arts training and motivation. On August 9th to the 10th, the American Martial Arts Alliance (AMAA) will be hosting its Hall of Honors award ceremony in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event is set to honor many legendary American martial artists including Chuck Norris, Cynthia Rothrock and many others for their great achievements in various martial arts. Ashby, nicknamed “Magic”, was a primetime fighter in the US State of Texas during the 2010s, elevating amateur mixed martial arts and non-major events to new heights with his quick finishes. He was also a successful submission grappler, capturing several titles within the North American Grappling Association.
Now, the Irish-American will be receiving the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the Whitehouse for his success in martial arts, his inspiration to others and spending over 4000 hours volunteering to enrich the lives of others and helping build stronger communities.
Micah Ashby still stands as a strong inspiration to growth, development and success in all martial arts and will receive the highest honor in recognition of his hard work.
