The Oscars 2024 ceremony was something all the cinema lovers were waiting for. Held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, the 96th Academy Awards honoured outstanding achievements in various categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and more.
Christopher Nolan’s biopic drama Oppenheimer dominated the 96th Academy Awards, taking seven Oscars home that include Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Original Score.
Cillian Murphy, the lead actor of the Oppenheimer, said in his acceptance speech that “We made a film about the man who created the atomic bomb, and for better or for worse, we’re all living in Oppenheimer’s world”.
