On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet over two dozen thought leaders from various walks of life. The list includes artists, scientists, Nobel laureates, scientists, scholars, entrepreneurs, health sector expert experts and academicians.
Among them is one of the most famous names in the world, Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and Twitter owner. During a visit to Tesla Motors factory in California in 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Elon Musk but then, he was not the CEO of Twitter.
“Leaving for USA, where I will attend programmes in New York City and Washington DC. These programmes include Yoga Day celebrations at the @UN HQ, talks with @POTUS @JoeBiden, address to the Joint Session of the US Congress and more,” Prime Minister tweeted.
The other big name the PM would meet is Neil deGrasse Tyson, who is an astrophysicist and science communicator popular for his popularization of science.
The PM added in a tweet that “In USA, I will also get the opportunity to meet business leaders, interact with the Indian community and meet thought leaders from different walks of life. We seek to deepen India-USA ties in key sectors like trade, commerce, innovation, technology and other such areas”.
