The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made a crucial update to its exam calendar for 2024. The revised schedule, now available on the official website ssc.gov.in, provides the most up-to-date exam dates for the Selection Post Examination (Phase XII) and the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2024.
According to a notice issued by the Commission, “In partial modification of the Commission’s Important Notice dated 08.04.2024 uploaded on the website of the Commission, the revised schedule of the two ensuing examinations.”
New Schedule for the SSC Selection Post (Phase XII) and CHSL Tier 1 Examination:
Selection Post Examination, Phase XII: June 20, 21, 24, 25, and 26.
Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, Tier-I: July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11.
Steps to Check SSC Selection Post and CHSL Exam 2024 Dates:
1. Visit the SSC official website: ssc.gov.in
2. On the homepage, locate and click on the section labeled “Important Notice: Schedule of Examinations.”
3. Click on the section, and the revised notice containing the updated schedule will appear on your screen.
The notice also confirms that the schedule for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2024 (Paper-I), remains unchanged. As previously announced, these exams are scheduled from June 27 to 29. It’s crucial for candidates to stick to the schedule and stay updated by regularly checking the Commission’s website for any changes.
To be eligible for the SSC recruitment examinations, candidates must have a Class 10 pass certificate or a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Additionally, all candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
With the revised exam dates, the commission is expected to release hall tickets soon. The SSC admit cards will be available on ssc.gov.in prior to the examination. Admit cards will provide candidates with the date of their exams, paper timings, exam center information, and other important instructions.
This year’s SSC CHSL test aims to fill approximately 3,712 positions. The SSC CHSL tier 1 test will consist of 100 questions, each worth two points. An additional 0.50 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Candidates will have up to one hour to complete the exam.
