RITIKA: WHAT’S FITNESS ACCORDING TO YOU?
Dr. Eyup: Fitness is the stress-relieving method that I have been exposed to during the day. In addition, it is a sport where I feel more energetic and happy. Basically it is a lifestyle for me.
RITIKA: AT WHAT AGE OR STAGE OF YOUR LIFE DID FITNESS BECOME A MAJOR PART OF YOUR LIFESTYLE?
Dr. Eyup: As I said in the first question, besides being a lifestyle for me, sometimes I feel like I haven’t taken a shower when I don’t do exercise. Gym lovers exactly know how disturbing this feeling is.
RITIKA: I OFTEN TELL PEOPLE THAT DEDICATION TO FITNESS STARTS WITH MOTIVATION. WHO OR WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO WORKOUT AND EAT HEALTHILY?
Dr. Eyup: My inspiration and motivation start with friends. You need a determined people around you to push you to do that. And secondly, my motivation is you always want to get better shape than the day before.
RITIKA: WHAT’S YOUR TYPICAL WORKOUT ROUTINE?
Dr. Eyup: l like to workout in an old-school way. I separate my workout as partly on the body. For example, Monday for my chest and biceps, Tuesday back and triceps, Wednesday is my off day Thursday shoulders and core, Friday for legs and biceps.
RITIKA: WHAT GENRES OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO WHILE YOU’RE WORKING OUT?
Dr. Eyup: For sure RNB music. Even sometimes l make my moves according to song rhythms.
RITIKA: WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MEAL OF THE DAY?
Dr. Eyup: Breakfast is a gold meal for me. I can’t imagine starting a day with an empty stomach.
RITIKA: WHAT’S THE MAIN RULE IN YOUR DIET?
Dr. Eyup: My main rule of diet is ‘ stay away from all white powders like sugar, flour and sweets.
RITIKA: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
Dr. Eyup: Of course Hamburger. Honestly l like carbs.
RITIKA: DOES IT DRIVE YOU CRAZY WHEN YOU DON’T GET TO EXERCISE?
Dr. Eyup: l feel like l cheated my girlfriend and l start to feel guilty.
RITIKA: WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER WORKOUT HEAVEN?
Dr. Eyup: Workout is a therapy for mind anyway, I can’t consider one of it. All is a gift for our soul and body.
