RITIKA: WHAT’S FITNESS ACCORDING TO YOU?
Ilaria: Fitness has always been part of my life and even during pregnancy I never gave up. Without being lost it makes me feel good about myself and at the same time it lets me vent from all the tensions accumulated during the day… fitness is a cure sometimes and it is really my strongest ally.
RITIKA: AT WHAT AGE OR STAGE OF YOUR LIFE DID FITNESS BECOME A MAJOR PART OF YOUR LIFESTYLE?
Ilaria: Thanks to my parents, fitness has accompanied me since I was a child, thanks to the numerous skiing in the mountains with the family, bicycle rides, then moving on to artistic and acrobatic gymnastics and then to years of volleyball at high levels. In short, I have always been a great sportswoman and it is part of me in all its forms… over the years I have tried many other sports … I love tennis, horse riding to then linger more and more at the gym.
RITIKA: I OFTEN TELL PEOPLE THAT DEDICATION TO FITNESS STARTS WITH MOTIVATION. WHO OR WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO WORKOUT AND EAT HEALTHILY?
Ilaria: Nobody motivates me to train and eat healthy… it is my body and mind that requires it to be able to feel good about myself that you should always remember !!! Your fitness and good health is the most important thing to be able to feel good about others and give the best of us.
RITIKA: WHAT’S YOUR TYPICAL WORKOUT ROUTINE?
Ilaria: At present, since I have a small girl I can’t go back to the gym so I manage my workouts by coordinating running and total body exercises that I can fortunately do at home and I have equipped myself with all that is necessary.
RITIKA: WHAT GENRES OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO WHILE YOU’RE WORKING OUT?
Ilaria: The music I prefer while I train is certainly some hits of the moment that give me a bit of charge and why not?? that makes me hum a bit trying to forget and relieve the stress of the day and the various problems.
RITIKA: WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MEAL OF THE DAY?
Ilaria: My favorite meal of the day is absolutely dinner … it always has been like celebrating the end of the busy day with a nice moment of relaxation with the family obviously always trying to eat healthy.
RITIKA: WHAT’S THE MAIN RULE IN YOUR DIET?
Ilaria: To tell the truth I do not follow a precise diet also because I am often away many hours in a row and for work, it happens that I have to lunch at 1600 hrs in the afternoon to have dinner at 2200 hrs… luckily and thanks to good genetics I can afford to drop and also often, however, staying in shape also thanks to the very sport that I practice during the week of course. However when I can manage I try to keep the basic rules of healthy eating.
RITIKA: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
Ilaria: My absolute favorite cheat meal is a nice pizza …. immediately after an ice cream or a fresh pastry cream croissant.
RITIKA: DOES IT DRIVE YOU CRAZY WHEN YOU DON’T GET TO EXERCISE?
Ilaria: Ahahhaahha….. Yes!!!! I get very nervous when I don’t have time to train, it’s as if something important is missing before ending the day.

Ilaria: I advise readers to try as much as possible according to their work and lifestyle and cut out time to devote to physical activity and choose the sport they like most so that they do it willingly and it gives them joy. I know it is not easy but at least on the days when you have a little more time to eat healthily and lightly but at the same time when there is the occasion for a dinner out with friends not to give up and enjoy it without worries. … the day recovers with a nice jog 🤣
