HELLO OLLY GAZAL, WELCOME TO BLACKBIRDNEWS! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF, WHO IS OLLY GAZAL IN YOUR OWN WORDS?
My name is Olly Gazal and I am 21 years old. I live in Ireland but I’m currently living in Chicago, Illinois for Education and also earned a scholarship which brought me here in the first place for American Football. I am the founder of Ollys TV, it’s my Music and entertainment company that I started when I was in 6th year which is high school in the states.
WHEN DID YOU FIRST BEGIN TO START THE MUSIC COMPANY?
I started my music company in 2019, it was hard at the beginning because I was mocked by a few people ijy school whenever I spoke about it and supported by my close friends and family. It was firstly created as a meme page initially, then I stated building some following and I decided to use it to help out my friends promote their songs and that’s how started with the intent to continue to help others in Ireland in the Music and entertainment industry.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR COMPANY?
My company, Ollys TV is an Irish music and entertainment platform that I use to help young talent with Great potential get the recognition that they deserve, whether I am a big or small platform, it does not matter to me because 1 eyeball on your brand or or listener on your song can change by a a lot. People don’t don’t know how effective it is to grow your audience, value every penny like you would your audience. Just keep working and good things will happen.
HAS YOUR COMPANY CHANGED MUCH OVER THE YEARS?
Yes and no, why? Because I’m growing and being consistent on my Instagram and tiktok but my youtube channel that holds the my base and foundation as a music company, hasn’t been active as much since the artists are either not knowing my channel or they rather use a bigger platform like GRM Daily, Mixtape Madness, Link Up TV or Press Play. I can say that a lot haven’t been laying low abit in the scene, as in they aren’t releasing as much music as they are supposed to do or used to over these past few months.
TELL US BIT ABOUT YOUR NEW PROJECT COMING UP?
Well, I do not want to go too much in depth since I do not really know what I can do for now, but I got a new freestyle coming out soon on my channel for young talent in Ireland that are on the come up. I want the freestyle to be different than the rest.
WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR CREATIVE INSPIRATION?
This is a good question, the answer without a doubt will be Cole Bennett, the founder of Lyrical Lemonade.
WHAT PEOPLE HAVE INFLUENCED YOUR CAREER?
The people that inspired and influenced me to be great in the future are Michael Jackson, Cole Bennett, Aaron Donald, Michael Rainy Jr and Omari Hardwick, KSI and Andrew Tate when it comes to making money specifically and trying to stand out like I am right now on Blackbird News. But yes, their come up stories are unbelievable and I learned a lot of hardwork and determination from them.
WHAT’S YOUR PROCESS LIKE FOR MAKING YOUR MUSIC COMPANY?
The process wasn’t easy at all, I started out as a meme page like imjustbait and also grinded myself out through your my 3 years and 10 months now with alot of in depth research and critical thinking on how to really become a promoter and how to make a living off this in the future.
